Today the sophomores and juniors went on a field trip to see a play called “Switch”. In my eyes I felt that the play was about not just having a group home or a foster home to go to but, a loving home. As a foster kid you tend to go to many different schools and can’t find a safe, loving, and caring home. Today I learned that lots of people don’t know what it’s like to be a foster kid but they feel the pain we go through just imagining what it would be like to lose their kids.
Good Job Shaurice. Im glad they made a play about foster kids because people always think its our fault for being in the foster care and that annoys the heck out of me.
